Don RuseDon Ruse brings over 27 years of experience as both a practitioner and consultant in helping companies improve their ability to execute strategy. Don has worked in a variety of global organizations across a broad spectrum of businesses, including considerable experience working with innovation-based multinationals who are establishing and growing their Asian operations. Don specializes in helping companies execute their business strategy through changes in business process, job design, organization structure, and governance. He also specializes in helping companies ensure they have the right number and type of talent needed to execute their strategy through talent management processes that forecast, develop and manage talent.
Prior to joining Axiom, Don spent 13 years with Sibson Consulting. He helped establish and co-lead Sibson’s Talent and Organization Practice, managed Sibson’s Raleigh, NC office and served as an elected Managing Partner of the firm. Before joining Sibson, Mr. Ruse spent 12 years as a practitioner and manager in the areas of organization development, human resources and strategic planning. He held various management and consulting positions with AlliedSignal, Mobil Oil, The Quaker Oats Company and Lennox International.
Mr. Ruse speaks frequently on the topic of Strategy Implementation. He has shared his perspectives with such organizations as The Conference Board and the Institute for International Research. Mr. Ruse is frequently published and his work has included articles in Research and Technology Management, Human Resources Planning, workspan, and the Association of Manufacturing Excellence.
Mr. Ruse earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the TRIUM Program, a global executive MBA program sponsored by the London School of Economics, Stern School of Business-New York University, and the HEC School of Management-Paris. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
