Combining strong analytical skills and the true enjoyment of working with people at all levels, Mark develops solutions that work, and that people want to implement. Mark’s approach is hands-on and inclusive, inviting energy from all members of the team. Mark has significant experience in line management roles and understands how to craft solutions that work at the front lines of an organization. While working across many types of organizations, Mark focuses primarily on professional services firms where he works together with senior and line leaders alike on issues ranging from Partnership structure Partner development and compensation to staff development.
Mark has spent the past five years working with senior leaders across a spectrum of industries to improve execution of strategy. Areas of focus are organizational design, talent development, employee engagement, and total rewards. Prior to joining Axiom Consulting Partners, Mr. Masson spent five years as an operations leader and chemical engineering R&D scientist for Merck & Co., Inc.
Recent published work includes: Sales Compensation – Planning for a Down Economy (Workspan, June 2008), and A Practical Approach to Attracting and Retaining Top Talent (Workspan September, 2008).
Mr. Masson holds a Masters of Business Administration from The J.L. Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern) and a Masters of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
