Background

With over 25 years of experience as a human resources and organizational development change agent, Deb consults with and coaches senior leaders accountable for daunting business goals. She is known for her on point insight into thorny business problems, and her ability to quickly bring the right team together to develop a winning strategy.  Deb is highly regarded for her commitment to seeing plans through to speedy and effective resolution.  Her ability to quickly capture the imagination and trust of leaders and teams deepens the potential for initiating and sustaining needed change.  Deb has coached over 80 chief executive, operating, marketing, financial, information, talent, learning, or technology officers.  Representative organizations include Pfizer, J&J, PepsiCo, Qualcomm, Entergy, Siemens, Liz Claiborne, Times Mirror, SonyBMG, Tenet Healthcare, Motorola, Morgan Stanley, American Express, Duke Energy, CommonHealth, Intel, Bell South, Wyeth, Novartis, and Calvin Klein (Warnaco).

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Axiom, Deb was the CEO, principal and cofounder, of Innolect Inc. Deb has also stood as the corporate manager of Logistics (Firestone), strategy executive director (Motorola), a senior director of HR (Entergy Corp), VP of HR and OE (The Tennessee Valley Authority) and CEO/President of Jacobs Consulting Group, an organization effectiveness firm.

Publications and Affiliations

Debra is a founder of the International Center for Organization Development, a co-author of Leadership Coaching: Pathway to Peak Performance (Spectra), and the author and co-creator of a variety of learning tools including the Personal Drive Alert (PDA) and the cross-cultural communication simulation, “Snomodust.”

Education

Debra has a Masters in Organization Development from the School of Business and Leadership at Pepperdine University. She is also a 1990 graduate of the Harvard Business School program, “Leading Complex Change,” and the 1993 Wharton initiative on creating high enterprise in mature companies.
