Isabelle Van Cauwenberge
Isabelle combines a strong background in consulting, management and research. She brings to Axiom almost 15 years of experience in management consultancy and HR consultancy for large-scale organizations at senior management levels (Brussels based, European-wide execution), five years of operational management experience as a business unit leader within a listed environment, and a persistent evidence-based focus originated during her work as a scientific researcher.
She provides Axiom’s clients with proven organization and management development insights and experience, both on a structural and process level as well as towards individuals, striving for results and change through people and their talents. She is passionate about analyzing and solving problems and helping leaders and their co-workers address the real issues in order to come to the best possible solutions.
Isabelle has worked on a broad range of projects in the domains of organization development (organizational change, business process reengineering, strategic alignment), leadership development (succession planning, training, coaching, career guidance), talent selection and development (recruitment and selection processes, competency management, assessment and development centers, performance management) and the development of talent management concepts and tools. She has a particular interest in Workplace Gender Balance projects.
Isabelle is fluent in Dutch, English, German and French and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.

Isabelle previously was an Associate Director inside the Hudson Belgian operations, where she acted as a BU Leader for the Public and Semi-Public sector. Previously she worked within Hudson as a principal consultant for the Belgian organization development department, and as a senior assessor for the European assessment and development practice. Before joining Hudson, she was a senior consultant at KPMG Consulting, a policy advisor for the Flemish Ministry (Department of Economic Support Policies) during a Belgian EU presidency, and a scientific researcher at the University of Ghent in the Political and Social Sciences Faculty.

Isabelle has shared her ideas on talent management topics in a variety of Belgian HR magazines and on the Hudson global talent management blog. She was also a speaker at Belgian HR conferences for the public sector.
She is a board member of “Zonnehoeve Living+,” a nonprofit organization that provides housing and other types of support to people with disabilities, and of “Zonnehoeve Productions,” a social profit organization, based on the values of “People-Planet-Profit, that promotes the employment of people with disabilities in adapted environments. Furthermore she is a board member of the Vooruit Arts Center in Ghent, one of Belgium’s cultural hot spots.
Isabelle has a Master’s degree in Political and Social Sciences (University of Ghent and Berlin Free University) and a Master after Master in macroeconomics and political economy (Université Libre de Bruxelles, Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management).
