Juan Pablo González, with more than 25 years of professional experience as a management consultant, corporate executive and board member, is well regarded for helping organizations address their highest priorities. He has developed high-impact solutions for leading private, public and not-for-profit organizations.

Prior to joining Axiom, Juan led consulting practices for Mercer and for RSM McGladrey. His senior corporate roles included combining and leading the compensation, benefits and human resources information systems functions for Constellation Energy and Baan Company. Juan has also been a consultant with Sibson & Company and held corporate human resources positions with Alexander and Alexander Services, Inc., (now AON), Philip Morris Companies Inc., and Salomon Brothers.

Juan is a frequent speaker and author on strategy and talent related topics. He is a co-author of Shockproof – How to Hardwire Your Business for Lasting Success (John Wiley & Sons, 2010) and his articles have appeared in publications including CFO magazine, workspan (the monthly magazine of WorldatWork), the American Society of Association Executives and the American Management Association’s Compensation and Benefits Review.
Juan serves on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Strategy Committee of Northern Virginia Family Service, a $30+million social services agency and is a member of the Human Resources Committee of Ratner Companies, a 12,000 employee, private health and beauty care services company that operates 1,000 outlets in 16 states. Juan also serves on Cornell University’s Organizational Effectiveness Advisory Committee and is a former Director of the Human Resources Leadership Awards of Greater Washington and of the Human Resources Leadership Forum.
Juan earned a Master of Arts (Honors) in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
