Juan Pablo González
Juan Pablo González, with more than 25 years of professional experience as a management consultant, corporate executive and board member, is well regarded for helping organizations address their highest priorities. His experience spans a range of critical issues including strategic planning, organization restructuring and post-merger integration, compensation program design, performance measurement and management and human resources strategy. He has developed high-impact solutions for leading private, public and not-for-profit organizations.
Notable achievements include:
- Strategy Development and Execution: Created and applied an innovative “inside-out” approach to strategic planning to help clients improve resource allocation and increase alignment with stakeholder and Board priorities.
- Organization Transformation: Led numerous large-scale engagements in support of changes in strategy, M&A activity and internal restructuring. Often called upon to work directly with high-profile skeptics and senior leaders.
- Return on Human Capital: Supported a division of a leading engineering company in identifying and addressing a 30% market pay gap. New compensation programs paid for themselves within nine months through a 30% reduction in turnover, 50% reduction in absenteeism and a 25% reduction in overtime expense.
- Total Reward Strategy Development: Advised industry-leading employers in the development and deployment of their total reward strategies. Persuaded decision-makers of the need to integrate and guide their companies’ investments in compensation and benefits for maximum ROI.

“I have spent half my career as a consultant and the other half as a client. This experience has shaped me as an advisor and guides my work. Every day I ask ‘Would this deliverable have met my needs? Are our solutions implementable in our clients’ environments and with their resources?’ I have been told I set high standards for our engagement teams —you should have seen me as a client!”
