Amy McDonald advises clients on strategic and organizational change to generate profitable growth. Over three decades, she has worked with C-level executives and their teams to align people, process, and systems to achieve execution excellence, especially when enabling new strategies and business models. Amy’s expertise includes transformation, strategy implementation, and organizational performance.
Amy combines experience as a consultant, as an operating executive, and as a Wall Street equity analyst. Her consulting experience includes McKinsey & Company, where she was a leader in the health care and pharmaceuticals practice, focusing on strategy; Katzenbach Partners, a firm integrating strategy and organizational performance approaches to help organizations realize their strategic intent; and Bateman Hendrix Group, her own firm advising the C-suite on issues of strategy, performance, and organization alignment. At specialty insurer Assurant, Inc., she founded and led the firm’s first Transformation Office. At Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers, Amy led coverage of the medical technology industry.
Amy is a former Trustee of the Helene Fuld College of Nursing, former Special Advisor to The Business Talent Group and to The Barthwell Group, and has served in various leadership and board roles within the local community.
Amy earned her MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and received her BChE in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
